About me
I have practised various styles of Yoga for over 15 years. I was first drawn to the physical practice of Yoga as a healthy way to relax and unwind from the pressures of hectic city living. I wasn't sure how something that seemed as simple as breathing, stretching and gentle movement could have such a profoundly nourishing effect, but I would leave class feeling both grounded and lighter. Calm, yet energized. My thoughts quietened. Yoga became a special little nook I carved out for myself, a safe space for me to let go of stress and anxieties, to rebalance and reclaim my mind and body.
When the student is ready, the teacher appears
Following the encouragement of one of my teachers, in 2016 I journeyed to India to study Yoga Asana and Philosophy at the renowned Sampoorna Yoga Institute in Goa. Under the guidance of Sudhir Rishi, I completed my 200 hour intensive Ashtanga/Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training. In 2018 I deepened my study and qualified as an L1 Yin Yoga teacher in the United Kingdom. In 2019 I returned to India to reconnect to the source, this time to Mysore, where I lived for over a month retraining intensively in traditional Ashtanga under Guru Ajay Kumar.
As my wellness journey continued, I put my skepticism and ego aside and began to explore further healing modalities. In particular, I was drawn to the ancient 'healing touch' tradition of energetic Reiki, and in 2019 I became a certified Usui II Reiki practitioner. I am interested in holistic, alternative and comprehensive approaches to health and wellbeing, and am very pleased to provide Reiki as a standalone treatment or combined with Yoga or Light touch massage therapy.
I continue to engage and deepen my relationship with healing and healing modalities as ways to assist others along the path; be it through Yoga, Reiki, Meditation, somatic or touch, my sensitive, holistic, comprehensive, and trauma-informed approach to health and well-being is unique, intuitive, explorative and overarching. I look forward to discussing your needs and pathfinding with you.
I am currently accepting clients for 2024.

Come as you are .:. Pay as you feel
A few years ago I found myself at an amazing 'Pay as You Feel' restaurant in Amsterdam, and I was incredibly inspired by the concept, its potential for community engagement and social transformation. A touch of gentle anarchy.
I immediately knew that I wanted to do this for Yoga, and have committed to providing 'Pay as You Feel' classes ever since.
As the benefits of Yoga can be applied to anyone, so should the benefits of Yoga be available to everyone. Yoga is a timeless gift to be shared.
Please contact me for more information on my 'Pay as You Feel' classes or to discuss concessions for Reiki or Massage.
All levels, All incomes, All welcome
